Node Types / Network Description
| Type | Description | Recommended Scenario |
|---|---|---|
| IEPL Dedicated Line | Cross-border private leased line provided by carriers. Does not go over the public internet or pass the GFW; highly stable, low latency. Mobile / Unicom / Telecom versions. | Use first when cross-border performance is poor or peak-time congestion occurs |
| Relay Node | Connect to a domestic relay IDC first; the relay then handles the cross-border hop, letting a server closer to the exit go overseas for you. | Use when local direct is slow; best performance when carrier matches your own |
| Direct Node | Your device directly crosses the border to the overseas node. Quality depends on your city’s international出口. | Recommended for regions with strong cross-border quality (e.g. Shanghai, Guangdong) |
Node selection recommendations
Cross-border slow / Peak-time congestion → Use IEPL
- Example: User → Shenzhen IDC → (IEPL) → Hong Kong IDC → Overseas
- IEPL has Mobile / Unicom / Telecom lines:
Same carrier works best; cross-carrier is more easily QoS throttled.
Direct unstable → Use same-carrier relay
- Mobile user → Mobile relay best
- Different carriers / cross-province paths are more easily rate-limited.
Cross-border quality good → Use direct
- Regions like Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian perform well direct.

vmess nodes may have a time sync issue. Search “Beijing Time” on Baidu; if it differs from your phone by more than 2 minutes, correct phone time.
Permission issue 1: First connection shows a VPN permission prompt. If denied, connection succeeds but no internet. Uninstall and reinstall.
Permission issue 2: After some time you can connect but have no internet. Uninstall, reinstall, then reboot device.
